Maimonides Scholarship for Jewish Studies Majors

Established through the generosity of Margaret and James Wiviott, and named for the 12th-century Jewish rabbi, philosopher, and Torah scholar, the Maimonides Scholarship in Jewish Studies offers substantial tuition support for Jewish Studies majors who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.

Eligibility: Applicants must have declared majors in Jewish Studies at UW-Madison. If you have not yet declared a major but intend to do so, please contact Gwen Walker, Associate Director and Academic Advisor in Jewish Studies at associate-director@cjs.wisc.edu

Award: Successful applicants who maintain their progress in the major will receive $12,500/year for two years.
