Join us for this exciting inaugural klezmer festival featuring superstar violinist Alicia Svigals and her Klezmer Fiddle Express band, pianist/composer Donald Sosin, Kanopy Dance, Yid Vicious, Tsuzamen, and Elm Duo. Multiple events (all FREE!) over 3 days at UW-Madison’s Mead Witter School of Music include a “folk ballet,” a Jewish-themed silent movie from 1923 with live original music, and two full klezmer band concerts.
